Reflection on the Challenge

Clarification through the use of translation tools was very helpful at defining what the task was early on in the business creation journey

As we became more comfortable and understanding in the online meetings, we were able to effectively collaborate and brainstorm issues around rural and low socio-economic education in Taiwan and Australia

Collaboration by using technology (Google drive, Microsoft teams) was a major strength of our teams creation process

A difficulty was the language barrier. The level of fluency differed between schools and also individual students at Nan Kwang High School.

There was also limited time to plan and prepare for the challenge with only two online conference sessions where we experienced some technical difficulties.

The brainstorming process was hard, but once an idea was created it was very easy to communicate, collaborate, and ultimately turn what was just an idea into a functioning business plan with a social and economic goal in mind.
